Every one of you must want to know our thoughts on all stuff to do with bikes otherwise you wouldn't be here on this page.

So, this is where you find out a few things we think about bikes, bikes and bikes. Well, mostly bikes - we do have some political views as well... NOT!
We would not bore you with such numbskullery.

Just remember we are average Joes (refer to images) with opinions; do not take them too seriously.

But although we look like we are a hopeless lot, we do offer some insight into what we have done & tried over time. Give our articles a read and get some tips on dirtbikes. We hope that maybe our experiences will help you somehow.

Performance Plus! Agricultural motorcycles - can they pass for a chooky?
expert opinion by Tent after owning and loving one.

Short answer... NO WAY!!!

Hooter's KV175, we did make the this Aggy look better though.

My experience with Agricultural Motorcycles (aka Aggy, aka AG Bikes) which I can no longer deny, (Thanks Dazza! - refer to previous lies here) is that the engine power is ok but the lack of any type of suspension components (Assume for cost savings?) makes them terrible for trail type applications. Personally, I would take a little less power for better handling and this includes good suspension travel. Over rough terrain the suspension just can't handle it and I haven't seen too many trail rides, farms or bike parks that are paved with broomed concrete or Asphalt. Speaking with farmers and observing the bikes used on the hunting properties I go to (large cattle stations 70 000 plus acres) even for agricultural purposes they will not use them and chose to upgrade to trail bikes so this is not a very good ad for the poor old Aggy.

Tent loved his Aggy, He misses those front & back racks.

There are a couple of plus's for the Aggy and the first is $$$. If you only have $10 to spend on a bike it is the only way to get going but I will guarantee that you will soon find more money and upgrade! Other plus's include for the hobby farmer on small acreage to poke around on, once again for the cost saving aspect, as well as some like Hooter's Kawasaki KV175 which are equipped with a very useful shovel holder or other accessories like gear racks front and back like my first Yamaha AG200! Also the seat is more comfortable on some models being wider and thicker (Probably to make up for no suspension) than a straight out moto x or enduro bike seat.

In conclusion the poor ol' Aggy just can't cut the mustard as a chooky so my advice is to keep saving those pennies until you can grab yourself a trail/enduro bike at a good price.
